Do as I say, not as I do.................
Sometimes with my crazy life - driving kids everywhere, PTO stuff, work, keeping up the house, blogging, etc., I write what to do and then don't remember to follow it myself! I just now finally remembered to go onto http://www.coupons.com/ to print out some coupons (mainly the cheese & milk one but more on that in a minute). Well, I realized that there are some coupons for the $30/$15 deal at Jewel that are of a higher value than the insert ones! The Chex Mix is $.50/1 instead of $.50/2, there is a Progresso soup one that is $1.10/3 instead of $.50/2, there is a $1/2 coupon for the Progresso bread crumbs (which I still can't find any of), the BC potatoes coupon is $.40 instead of $.25! I really should listen to myself more often!
Ok, now about the dairy coupons. Go to http://www.coupons.com/ and do not enter a zip code. There should be (I just printed them) a coupon for $1.50 off 2 lbs. or more of any brand cheese, a coupon for $1.00 off any 1/2 gallon chocolate milk when you buy 2 gallons of milk (plan to use when I "buy" my Dean's milk using my free milk cat and get my free Swiss iced tea - now this makes it an even better deal) and a $.75 off 6 cups any brand yogurt! You can print 2 of each. The cheese coupon will work very nicely with the Target coupon (http://www.target.com/) for $1.50 off 1 lb or more bulk cheese in the deli department. Buy 2 - 1 lb. pkgs of cheese (even if you are just buying 1 kind of cheese, have them separate them into 2 pkgs) and use 2-$1.50 Target coupons and 1-$1.50 mfg. coupons and that should be some really cheap cheese! :-)
