Doug stopped at Jewel today to pick up some more free Nestle milk, pizza sauce and shampoo and called to see if I needed anything else. I had him try the P&G deal and the Kraft deal. Well, the Kraft deal worked great - 6 shredded cheddar cheese packages (sale price - $4.29, Preferred price - $2.49) and 2 Kraft block cheese (sale price $3.39, Preferred price $2.49) so, $32.52 "sale" price to get us over the $30 requirement and $19.92 Preferred price. He did get the $10 cat so $9.92 for 8 packages of cheese isn't too bad. Of course, with coupons, this would be better but I just wanted to be sure it was working - Yep, it is! :-)
The P&G deal didn't go so well. It would have worked just fine but for some reason the Wesson oil rang up at $2.99 instead of the $5.49 "sale" so beware! If you are using Wesson as part of your deal, then make sure it rings up at the $5.49 price otherwise you will need to add more to your order! This was at the Bartlett Jewel, I don't know if that makes a difference or not, if all stores are ringing up that way but I wanted to let you know! I haven't had time to go on the other blogs to find out and tomorrow is a super crazy day. I will try to get some more info up for you but I am leaving the house at 9am and not returning until probably around 8pm so check out Jill Cataldo's site or Mashup Mom for good information on the deals.
Happy Shopping!
