Jewel

Well, I finally got to Jewel today. I took my friend Mike shopping and we both did really well. He got 3 packages of burgers and 1 package of chicken for just over $5. Mike bought $20 worth of the $10/$3 instant savings deal and after the discount and coupons, he ended up paying about $9.00. I bought $67.00 worth of stuff and paid $14.60 oop after the discounts and coupons and $5.00 in Walgreens RR's that I used. They were out of the Quaker Chewy bars so we got a raincheck for those. They should be fully stocked next week when they are no longer on sale.

I did not get the Clorox catalina though. I don't know why, the green light was on but maybe it was just a glitch in the system. Who knows.

I peeked at the Jewel ad for tomorrow and it looks like a good one! There are a couple of double dippers - the Pillsbury biscuits and the GM fruit snacks. I hope to get some info up tonight. Right now, I have to take care of dinner and then go to the high school for a band meeting.
