It’s been super busy around here and I am still not feeling 100% - getting really tired of this cold! – so I'm sorry that it’s been a bit quiet on the blog. I haven’t even gotten to Jewel to do the $10/$3 instant savings deal yet! I know – I can’t believe it myself – there are good deals with this one! It is my goal to go tomorrow and hopefully they have some stuff left!

Today I took Amanda on our very first college visit. She is a Junior and so I guess I really need to get out of the denial stage and into the proactive stage and see what’s out there. She has done her part – has a great GPA and has great goals for herself – so now it’s a matter of visiting different schools, seeing what’s out there, seeing how much they will offer her, etc. in the next year. From what I have been told, it’s important to get those applications in early in Senior year so we have started the process. Yikes! Then I came home and took some cough medicine that knocked me out for a few hours. I needed that! :-)

So anyway, here are some Target deals that I have put together scouring info from various websites. I have not gone to Target myself so if you do go and find something that is not correct, please let me know by making a comment on this post.

-Nature Valley granola bars, $2.50 – buy 3 and get a free Nature Valley Nut Clusters. If you still have any of those $1.60 Nut Clusters coupon, you should be able to use that plus a $.40/3 coupon from 9/24GM for the granola bars. There are also coupons on www.coupons.com for both the bars and clusters.
-There is a pharmacy coupon for $10.00 gift card with a new or transferred prescription.
-Gold ‘n Plump boneless skinless chicken breasts are $2.49/lb. There is a $1 coupon on http://www.coupons.com/. This is really good chicken! I try to buy organic or free range chicken whenever I can and buy this brand if it’s on sale.

There are new coupons on www.target.com too! I didn’t really use many from the last batch but there are some there that I think I will use.

-There is also another Chef Michaels dog food coupon in the 10/11SS and a $1.25 Target coupon in the 8/30SS so again, free or super cheap dog food at Target.
-There is a $1 coupon for Archer Farms crackers – be on the lookout for some on the end caps on clearance or hopefully these go on sale soon. :-)
-$1/2 General Mills cereals coupon. Use coupons from www.coupons.com, www.bettycrocker.com or there are coupons in 9/13GM or 10/4GM inserts. These go on sale regularly so hopefully soon!
-There is $1 mfg coupon in the 8/30RP (exp. 10/15!) and $1 Target coupon in 10/11RP for Nivea lip care products so this should make them pretty cheap!
