Walgreens

Hey everybody! I am feeling way better so get ready for lots of posts! :-) I am going to Walgreens in a bit and have figured out my game plan. I figured I would share it with you now so that if any of you want to go early (I suggest you do this week - there is a lot of free stuff!) you can. If I encounter any problems, I will update this post in red.

It looks like I should have gotten sick this week instead because Walgreens has a ton of meds on sale! :-)

Emergen-C Booster - $3.49 - free after RR
Robitussin DM - $2.49 - free after RR - use $1 coupon from 9/27RP
Theraflu - 2/$8 - get $4 RR - use the $2 Wags coupon from the Healthy Savings book by the front door and it will automatically take off $4 when you buy 2 so they will be free!
Vicks products - 2/$10 - get $5 RR - use 2 $1 coupons from today's P&G insert
Halls Refresh - $1 - free after RR - use $.75 coupon from 9/27SS or $.50 coupon from Oct. All You magazine

Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion - $6.99 - free after RR - use 8/2RP $1.50 coupon today only (exp. today) or you can print a coupon on http://www.vaseline.com/
Oral-B toothbrush - $3.00 - free after RR - $.75 coupon from 9/27P&G insert
ChapStick Fresh Effects - $2.99 - free after RR
Hershey's candy - $.49 with Wags coupon - use the $.55 coupon from 8/23SS if you buy Reese's (hand over before Wags coupon if you are only buying 1 so that it doesn't beep)
Hunt's tomato sauce - $.39 - good price if you need some
Glad Cling Wrap - $1.99 - ok price but I need this
L'Oreal Wear Infinite eye shadow, mascara or Bare Naturale Cosmetics - $1/1 & $2/1-8/2RP, $1/1-8/16RP, $1/1-8/30RP, $2/1-9/13RP, $1/1-9/20SS according to http://www.coupontom.com/
Gillette Fusion or Power Razor - $8.99 - get $6 RR - use the $4 coupon from today's P&G insert to make it a MM!
Dentek picks - $2 - free after RR - use $1/$2 or more Flosspicks item from http://www.smartsource.com/ (don't enter zip code but if you don't see it - use 90210)
Herbal Essences Hair Care - $2.99 - get $2 RR - use $1 coupon from 8/23 RP or 9/13RP

Remember at Wags, you have to have enough items to use all your coupons or the register will beep. So, if you have 1 item and are using 2 coupons (mfg and RR or Wags coupon) then you must have a filler item. Lots of the Halloween stuff is really cheap and good to use as fillers! Look down that isle if you have register rewards to use up.

Happy Shopping!

Everything went ok as far as prices and I was able to use all of my coupons. The only thing that went wrong was that I did not get my Oral B RR! I was supposed to get 9 RR's and only received 8. It was hard to count as they were coming out because other coupons were also coming out and there were 3 people behind me so I didn't stand there and count them when she handed them to me. So double check your RR's before you leave the register. I used 2 RR's from last week and may have screwed up and used one from the same company which most times does not then generate an RR from that company - even for a different product. No biggie. I spent $38.91 (including using the $5 in RR) and received $29 back in RR's. This total also includes an $8 item that was not on sale but necessary. So, all in all, a good trip.

I did notice that my Walgreen's did not have sale tags on several things in the ad but they all rang up at the sale price. The Herbal Essences and Gillette Razor are two that I remember.
