I have been asked many times what my stockpile looks like so I thought I would post some pictures of it. The quality is not the greatest since I took these pictures with my iPhone so I apologize for that. This is my food, cleaning supplies, paper goods stock pile. I keep all of our personal care items, toiletries, candles, etc. separately upstairs in our linen closets. Also the laundry supplies are kept in the laundry room. I will have to take pictures of those and show you another time.
The first picture is of the pantry in my kitchen. This is always very full and always has been. The next two pictures are of my large upright freezer. This holds A LOT!! You can see all of my Fav 4 chicken and burgers that my hubby vacuum sealed on the center shelf! The last four pictures are of the shelves in what the kids call the "bomb shelter" which is a room in my basement. Can you see the cereal - that is less than half of what I had a month ago before I started making everyone who came here take cereal with them! Before I started couponing to this degree, I would have this kitchen pantry completely full and then maybe 2 or 3 shelves downstairs. The freezer was usually well stocked but all of that would cost me lots more than what I am showing in these pictures plus my linen closets and laundry room combined!
I am not showing these to you to show off or to tell you that you have to have as much as me or even close but to show you that it is possible to stockpile a lot for very little. You stockpile whatever your family needs and will eat and what you have room for. You may not have a room where you can put all of your stuff but you can get creative with some of your closets, put shelves in the garage (unless you have a husband like mine that doesn't put ANYTHING in the garage except the cars and garbage cans!), bins under the beds, etc.
Happy Stockpiling! :-)
