Loving Jewel!

I am loving Jewel again! Not that I ever stopped loving it but it sure was quiet for a while - now with all of these cat deals going on I can barely keep it straight! :-)

I just got back and did 2 GM deals, 2 C.h.i.l.l. deals and many Your Bucks deals in one transaction. Here is what I ended up with:

I am going to give you the "sale" price from the S. Elgin store for the GM deal (make sure you check the price at YOUR store, they are different sometimes) but I am not going to break everything down because I have given the coupon info in previous posts and the Preferred price is advertised.

GM deal:
4 Wheaties Fuel cereal - $5.29 each "sale" price
2 Progresso Soup - $2.75 each "sale" price
1 Bisquick - $2.49 "sale" price
2 Lucky Charms cereal - $3.59 each "sale" price
1 Cookie Crisp cereal - $4.69 each "sale" price --- this is a really good price spread! You could buy 4 Cookie Crisp and add a cheap filler like Bisquick and you would be over the $20 in "sale" price but only at $11.45. If you had 4 $1 coupons you would pay $7.45 and get back $7.00!! Hmmm..... I may have to find some more computers to print coupons on! :-)

So, I am over $40 in "sale" prices here and I did receive two $7.00 cats!

I received a $6 YB cat for spending over $60!

I did buy some other things we needed:
--Steak (ok, we didn't NEED this but we wanted it)
--Boneless Skinless Chicken - BOGO - not the greatest price per pound but not too bad and I did not want to go to another store
--2 rotisserie chickens ($2.99 & 1.99 - they put out the ones that don't sell from the morning)
--2 cans of beans from the clearance section
--Deli Chicken breast for lunches
--10 boxes of Granola bars for a school function (thought I had enough but needed 10 more - they were only $1.59 a box so not bad)
--water
--small bag of new Doritos - cheeseburger flavor - hmm, we shall see.......
--8 Vitamin Water - on sale $1 ea - used 2 Buy 3, get 1 Free hangtag coupons found on the bottles
--Golden Oreos - used 2 free coupons from the Facebook promotion last month
--Stacy's chips - used free coupon they mailed from the All You promotions
--Grande tortilla chips - $2.00 - used $1 coupon from 1/10SS
--15 Dannon Greek yogurt - on sale 10/$5 - used 5 $1/3 coupons from 2/21SS -- super cheap!

Here are my totals:

Subtotal - $267.99
Pref. savings - $67.26
Mfg. coupons - $46.44
Store coupons - $14.12
Cats - $53.50

I paid $86.86 and received $56.00 in cats!! I am extremely happy but I don't think I can fit much more in my house! :-)
