Before I go on, I do have to say something. When I was at Jewel yesterday, the self check-out person told me that they are considering stopping the program (don't know how true this is) because of people stealing. Since the cats come out right after you ring the item, they are scanning the items, grabbing the cats and then leaving the food! I am sure that none of you are doing this but please if you see anyone doing this, let the Jewel people know, it's stealing - plain and simple. It really irritates me that people out there would ruin a good thing - I mean if you pay for it once, you can keep rolling the cats over and over and it's still FREE without stealing and messing it up for the people like us that are doing it to just feed our family as inexpensively as possible. Grrr....

Transaction #2 we gave to a friend who I keep trying to get to go shopping with me! I'm making him go on Monday! :-) The other Ragu (and any Suave I find - which is not easy since people keep clearing the shelves) we will donate to the food pantry because it's not one of my favorites - it's free food though that someone will benefit from so I will grab one every time I go into Jewel until the promotion is over.

On Friday I went to Jewel and got what I had posted before plus did 3 GM deals (all in one transaction) in order to use my $7 off of $70 coupon from Jewel. Here are the items in the GM deal with the "sale" prices from the St. Charles store (coupon info is in previous post):

So my "sale" price (this is the ring price before preferred savings) was $63.70 (I could have left out something I guess) but my Preferred price (price I pay) was only $43.00 - less coupons of $11.20 so $31.80. I received 3- $7 GM cats plus the $3.50 cats for the Fiber One bars and $3.50 BC Fruit Snacks. So, after cats, all of that cost $3.80!!!!! SO GOOD!
