Jewel - current deal and new deal coming!

Ok, sorry it has been quiet on here for a couple of days. I have still not been feeling well and so I have been moving slow and not shopping at my normal pace. Yesterday morning I went to my brothers church to help him out and then came home and spent the afternoon/early evening in bed! My head was splitting and I had so much pressure that I could not wear my contacts. Well, long story short, I went to the Minute Clinic (which I am loving by the way) this morning and my cold that has been bugging me for over 3 weeks had turned into a sinus infection! Well, now I have antibiotics and so I am hoping to feel a lot better in the next couple of days. Yay! Back to shopping! :-)

The current $25/$10 deal going on is working very well for people! I hope you are taking advantage of it. It's a great way to stock up! I have done 3 deals with the Pillsbury biscuits, cresent rolls, cinnamon rolls, cookies (Simply cookies are still all gone!) and the Betty Crocker fruit snacks. I have used coupons and this has given me $17.50 in cats each time - pretty much making it free or extremely close to free! I have also done one transaction with 11 boxes of Betty Crocker brownie mixes that I did not have coupons for. They are Preferred price of $1.00 each, but the "sale" price is $2.40 each so I paid $11.00 but received $10.00 cat back! If you get brownies from me at Christmas time, you will know where I got them! :-) I plan to go back and do a few more of those transactions and donate the brownies to the food pantry. I also want to do a few transactions of the soup and donate those too.

While I was at the store yesterday morning, I received a cat showing the following new deal:

Purchase $15 in participating products between 10/22/09 -10/28/09 and get a $5.00 cat. Because this is a cat deal and not an instant savings, it should work off of the "shelf" price. I will let you know right away if I hear differently.
